Biography
The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is one of the foremost orchestras in the world and their superb wind soloists are frequently lauded by critics and public alike. For orchestral wind players, the sense of chamber music is ever-present and this light-hearted programme of music from the 1920s (much of it written in Paris) reflects their joie de vivre and virtuosity in equal measure.
